Ensuring that different types of information needs of farmers are met Create and implement quality expansion programs.

Determining crop production through cultivable land and crop cutting / farmer interviews for different seasonal crops to be managed through Sub Assistant Agriculture Officers at Block level

Determining and implementing the demand for materials in agricultural production To undertake, implement and send recommendations to the authorities to assess the crop damage caused by various natural calamities and to compensate the loss.

Quality control of fertilizers, seeds and pesticides, ensuring supply, monitoring and liaison with suppliers

Creating training materials for farmers and technical staff Reporting problems that DAE is unable to resolve at the block level to other partner organizations or district experts through UACC

Maintain liaison with farmers' associations, NGOs and other organizations at the upazila level, including suppliers of agricultural inputs and marketers of agricultural products.

Assist Sub Assistant Agricultural Officers in implementing quality advice and programs on crop diversification, extension methods, supply of materials and credit and technology transfer among farmers, etc.

Assistance by Sub  Assistant Agricultural Officers in various events (e.g. Farmers Rally, Field Day, Motivation Trips) etc. for the expansion of agricultural technology at the field level.

To formulate and implement plans for agricultural extension activities at the upazila level (such as exhibitions, agriculture and technology fairs, farmer training)

Establish relationships and coordinate work with other extension service providers through UACC Conduct and conduct Upazila Planning Workshop

To take necessary steps to identify and implement the training needs of the staff

To plan and organize fortnightly Upazila Training Day Ensure monitoring of work of Sub  Assistant Agriculture Officers through fortnightly program / inspection schedule management review meetings and field inspections.

To manage and coordinate SEMS and CAP at the upazila level

To ensure budget management and timely settlement of the upazila

Collecting other information including emergency information from the Sub Assistant Agriculture Officers and sending it to the district, region or headquarters in appropriate form.
